Getting The Best Fit With You Queen Sheet

Put an end to queen sized sheets that don’t stay in place. As you and your partner move around at night, they can slip and they can roll. You don’t want to wake up because the sheet is bunched around you. It is frustrating to wake up on the bare mattress too. It is easy enough to take care of this problem with a quality queen fitted sheet. A common assumption is all of them are the same, but that isn’t true. The quality will determine how long it is going to last. It will also influence how well it fits around the rounded corners of your bed. The design needs to hold its shape over time and through the washing cycle. Otherwise, it will compromise the value that product holds. Fitted Versus Flat If you aren’t sure of the difference between flat and a queen fitted sheet, they both are the right size for that mattress. However, a fitted one has the hugging design with elastic around the edges. This should offer a good grip around the corners so it stays securely in place after you put it there. With a flat sheet, it just sits on top of the mattress. If you want it avoid it slipping, you will need to tuck it around the edges or pin it. Still, you are better off just going with the queen fitted sheet from the start. By the time you go to bed at night, you want to be able to just relax, not fight with getting your sheets in place and hoping they stay there! You can also put a flat sheet on top of that one and sleep under it. This is a great option on a warmer night, when a blank is too heavy and warm. Yet you need something to cover your body with. It will get a little cooler by the time you wake up, and you don’t want to be cold. How to put it On You don’t need to struggle when it comes to putting a queen fitted sheet on your bed. When you look at it, you may not be able to tell which the longer end is. Don’t worry, you will quickly figure it out! If you feel you are tugging too much to get it from the bottom to the top, just turn it around. Snuggly secure it around one corner at the bottom of the bed and then pull to the top. Securely the queen fitted sheet snuggly there. Stretch it down as far as you can over the corner so it is less likely to pop off. Repeat the same process for the other side. With some practice, you will soon find you can do this in just a few minutes. Don’t rush though because you really do need to make sure it is going to stay in place. Otherwise, you have to start all over! Thread Count The higher the thread count is for a queen fitted sheet, the better overall quality that product provides. This is an important factor to look at when you go shopping. There are plenty of colors and designs you can pick from. Yet if the quality suffers, the product isn’t going to last you too long. You want it to be a good investment you can count on. The higher thread count is often going to cost you more, but you should be able to get some terrific deals. You can buy these sheets individually or as part of a set. It is a good idea to look at the information about the retailer and the brand before you buy. Stick with products other consumers rave about.
